The Story Behind AtomicMemory
This was built while I was in high school in Bangladesh, at a time when I was genuinely struggling. Exams there mostly reward whoever memorizes faster, and I wasn't winning that race. I wanted to understand chemistry, not just recite it. But that didn't matter much when the test was in front of me and the symbols weren't coming.
My chemistry coach shifted my thinking. Memorizing without strategy is just pain, he said. But group by group, something changes. You stop forcing isolated facts into your head and start seeing connections. The table starts to feel like a map instead of a wall.
That finally clicked for me. I wanted to practice, thought about printing blank tables and filling them in by hand. Then I thought, why not just build something? Midway through building it, I had a moment where I realized this could actually feel rewarding. Streaks, ranks, achievements. That rush of progress.
AtomicMemory came from that. From frustration, a coach who cared, and a student who found his way through.
If you're struggling with the same thing, this was made for you.
